As it is right now, every time you add an input it gets a number. Let's pretend we have a setup like this:

1 Camera 1
2 Camera 2
3 Lower third graphic
4 Full screen graphic

Then let's say you want to add a third camera, but you have other elements that are dependent on the lower third being input number 3, so now you'll be forced to update everywhere that uses input 3 for the lower third.

So the suggestion is to let us use the numbers freely without needing to add a bunch of empty inputs.

1-9 cameras
1x lower third graphics
2x full screen graphics
3x videos

and so forth. It would allow a lot of flexibility.
