I have a job coming up where I will be streaming sports to YouTube on my Vmix desktop PC.

However, during training/warmup sessions, I need to display the information on a screen on the wall, so I was thinking of doing this in its own Vmix project. Now, I have been asked about doing audience walks and interviews during the breaks. I am unsure if they want these on the screen in the arena or going out live.

Would it be best to do warmups/training/interviews and audience walks on my laptop running a second Vmix session? This could just be exporting to the screen, but it could also use NDI output that could be taken as an NDI input on the desktop PC to stream live. If so, do I need a second license?

Thank you.

Look for Mix Inputs to do it on one PC:

Especially the part on Custom display output with the Mix

Make sure to have your shortcuts prepared.

The solution with two PCs would also need two licences.
