Does anyone know if the Dante AVIO USB (or similar) dongles show up in vMix as in/out channels? I have a client setup where I don't want the PC to physically be on the Dante network, so I was hoping the USB dongles will give me the IO I need via USB. Do these dongles have an ASIO driver?
Alternatively, would I be better to go with the Dante XLR I/O dongles and just use a usb interface with vMix?

yes they can isolate you from the client Dante network, but AFAIK they are class compliant audio devices for the USB side.
I would go Dante -> usb rather than dante -> analog -> USB interface
