Good evening. I’m posting in the Feature Request section rather than Beta Discussion because I believe the following is a matter of incomplete design, not a bug.
Suppose we have a VideoList where the first clip is 10 seconds, the second 30 seconds, the third 10 minutes, and the fourth another 15 seconds. I want to perform an action on the third (the long video) using the new “On playback time” trigger when that clip, say, reaches its first 30 seconds. As it’s implemented now, if we set “On playback time: 30 seconds” and start the list from the first item, then in my example the trigger will fire roughly halfway through the second clip instead of at the start of the third clip.
The only workaround is to use “On playback remaining,” but when we build our list in segments we often don’t know its final total duration, so “On playback remaining” isn’t practical.
Could you please add—in vMix 29—a way for the “On playback time” trigger to account for the playback position within each list item, so it fires at the correct time in the intended clip?
Thank you!
