I just upgraded to version 28.0.0.39 and when using Companion with stream deck to put an animated video graphic on overlay 1 , it turns the overlay 1 channel green, plays the associated video, but nothing comes to the screen. If a trigger it manually from vMix interface it works. Looks like an API protocol issue.
Any idea?

Hi,

You will need to upgrade both Companion and the vMix plugin for it to the latest version, as there is an issue in older versions that prevents
them from working with Overlays in vMix 28.

I have upgraded Companion to the lates version 3.5.2 , and still have the same problem. I have to figure out how to upgrade vmix plugin.
Anyway looks like the command is issued correctly, since overlay is activated in vMix and the clip is playing, just not visible in the output

Hi. Have you created the action again? We need un-fortunatelly for any overlay action that has been created in companion 3.4.x to be deleted and re-create in 3.5.x
Vmix 28.0.0.39 is not the problem here

You are right, from the logs looks like there is a mismatch with mix number value
