OK, so Microsoft have thrown Copilot into Windows without asking us first. True, there are numerous guides and tips out there about how to (potentially) uninstall Copilot. But, should we care?
In other words, does Copilot perhaps use resources that may affect vMix in an undesired way?

In other words, does Copilot perhaps use resources that may affect vMix in an undesired way? EVERYTHING added creates additional overhead. If it's too much overhead will depend on how close to using the whole CPU, the whole network bandwidth, the whole actual memory, or the whole disk I/O bandwidth on your current machine and how much of each of those Copilot will use and that will vary for everyone. Copilot can be uninstalled if it worries you. If the normal bloated Windows bothers you, go find a copy of Windows 10 LTSC or Windows 11 LTSC which should be SUPPORTED for another 10 years! That's the version of Windows sold for use in ATMs and other dedicated systems and of course has the bonus of having a far longer support lifetime. It's the MS sold "light" version of Windows lacking the bloat they normally install and not just the bloat that OEMs add to the already bloated consumer versions.
