I am running a rock climbing event, with 4 cameras. 2 of these cameras are dedicated to the men's event (we'll call them Cam 1 and Cam 2), and 2 are dedicated to the women's event (Cam 3 and Cam 4), which are happening simultaneously.

I have two copies of the lower third title imported and data linked to the active climber on both the men and women's side. Cam 1 & 2 have a layer for the men's lower third, and Cam 3 & 4 have a layer for the women's lower third.

What I am wanting to do is to show/hide these layers for between climbers, since those lower thirds won't always be necessary, and I want them to come in/out with their animations. I haven't set these up as overlays, since they are only supposed to be shown on their own respective camera inputs. I've done this using OBS / Companion before by having the elements attached to those specific scenes, and setting their visibility in each scene through a button press in companion. How can I do this using VMIX?

Hi. If something works with a way into OBS doesnt mean it will work same way into Vmix and vice versa. For animation for a layer there exist a shortcut called swaplayer but in your occasion i think is not what you need.
The best way i can personally think of is to use a mix input per your cameras and Vmix 28 so you can do overlays as usual but to be able to be shown only in the specific mix input/camera

Use a shortcut to show/hide the respective layer. The same shortcut can have a copy (shown in red, can be ignored in this case) to set visibility for men or women.

Shortcut A set toggle layer 3 of input 1
Shortcut A set toggle layer 3 of input 2
