I am having an issue with the "move" feature in the Layer Designer -

Let's say I want to have have a green-screen background for Talent. I create a blank Virtual Set. I have a PNG asset on layer 1 acting as a background, and a Chroma Keyed Camera Input on Layer 2. Both layers take up the full 1920x1080 frame. Now I want to "move" the Image on layer 1, so I select layer 1 (highlighting the "1" in Green and showing me the "move" "crop" "border" options for layer 1). I click on the Preview Window below, hoping to be able to click-and-drag the image on layer 1 into a new position- but when I click on the preview window (with Layer 1 selected), it instead activates Layer 2, and now I'm dragging around my Camera Input.

Any idea what is causing this or how to prevent it from happening?

FWIW, I understand that I can move the asset in Layer 1 by clicking the "Edit" button on Layer 1 and tweaking the XYZ axes from the "Position" tab- but it would significantly improve my workflow to be able to make these adjustments in the "Layers" tab where all of my Layers are visible and quickly navigable in one place.

Yes.

Logically, it's assumed that the layer you click on will be the layer you want to move.

Generally, people don't need to move their background lawyer much (if at all) and to whatever extent they do, they generally do it before anything is placed on top of it.

Don't put another layer on top of it until you're happy with its positioning. Then adjust your camera within the space of your background, not the other way around.

My virtual scenes tend to have a large amount of overlapping layers, often reaching the 10 layer maximum, and it is not unsual in my workflow to need to move those individual layers within the scene during a live production. Is there any faster way to select and move/adjust the desired layer, without having to click into it's respective "edit" menu?
