It would be great if the inputs in MultiView 1 & MultiView 2 could be fixed (not dynamically assigned based on the input number, as it is now). I regularly experience issues where I delete one or more inputs, causing my entire MultiView setup to break because the inputs shift around.

+1 This is also a major annoyance for us! Would be great to see this fixed in v28.

In vMix 28 you can assign a Mix input directly to the MultiView now. This means you can use that instead, and assign the input to the Mix input.
This will result in it being more fixed than before.
Note however that this is not the place for feature requests, as features are already locked in for 28.

You`re right but please if possible make mix inputs to be treated as "special" in multiview because now yes they can be used but their order if changes, then changes also the multiview that misses the mix input and takes it`s place the other input.

It's not really possible to accidentally re-arrange the order of Mix inputs, so this solution still appears to solve the problem (of removing inputs changing what appears in the MultiView Output)

I realised now the drop down menu in the number-->mix! Without this enabled, mix input is like normal input. So yes my "special" feature allready exist. Still remains the problem with mix numbers re-order that leads to wrong choice in the commands (now that we have also overlays more attention needed to what to send where) but as the key input remains same, i believe that personally i can "fight" with new technology and make a program to dynamically change the mix="" via the api
