But it seems to me that ticking it has no effect on the latency.

Tested with Canon N300 (NDI HX) and Magewell Pro Converter (Full NDI), Wired network, Project and recording setting to 50 fps, vMix 27.0.0.81

For each of the cameras I repeated this setup:

1. Input 1, NDI with the feed without ticking the option
   
2. Input 2, with the same NDI feed but ticked the option
   
3. Input 3, Color Input with Input 1 and 2 side by side
   
4. Recorded Input 3
   
5. Stepped through the recording frame by frame in Da Vinci Resolve, both Inputs show the same frames at the same time...
