I would like to suggest the possibility to map an input to an object, like a rectangle, circle,... or even text. You animate the object like you want to and back in vmix you select an input as the rectangle for excample. The rectangle/circle/text is filled with the input video. That would allow a very dynamic and creative use of the GT designer not only for lower thirds but also more as a dynamic layout animation.
