Hi,
we do a lot of virtual conferences where each participant is brought in fullscreen via a seperate browser or VMIX-Call feed. We always mix the audio sepereratly on a dedicated console to add a maximum of control and quality to the final mix. Unfortunately the roundtrip between VMIX and the console introduces some delay, that has to be compensated. The audio is always slower than the video.
I know that there is a workaround with re-entry NDI feeds of the callers, but that is an unnecessary CPU load and makes the VMIX project way more complicated. SO it would be awesome to have the abilty to delay the video from a VMIX-call or a browser input just like this is possible with NDI feeds or cameras.
Why browser? Because we use VDO Ninja a lot. With that tool any guest is brought in via a seperate browser feed. Right now a video delay on browser feeds is disabled. Please give us the option to use it on browser inputs too.
Thanks and cheers
Robert
