Could you consider adding BlueSky to vMix Social to replace the old Twitter/X api. There are no costs associated with using the api, unlike X and BlueSky is really starting to take off. It now has over 15 million users and our followers have more than doubled in 24 hours.

Since originally posting this, BlueSky.app has been adding 1 million new users per day and is the no. 1 social media app at the moment. It is open source which should make getting it to function in vMix social relatively easier to do.

We previously used Twitter to display audience engagement messages on-screen in our live discussion programmes, however the Twitter algorithms meant we had to be very careful with moderation. Twitter, now X, was previously the best format in terms of size and audience engagement for us to encourage live interaction with viewers, but it no longer provides a positive user experience and since the changes to accessing the X api, is is now longer available on vMix Social. The other options available on vMix Social are not where our audience are and now we are seeing a rapid fall in our audience interaction on X, and an exponential increase on the BlueSky.app and because of the way BlueSky works, our interaction is not affected by audience limiting algorithms or promoted content. The BlueSky user base continues to grow rapidly and we see more of our followers moving from X to follow us on BlueSky every day, so it would be really good to have BlueSky available on vMix social, particularly since access to the BlueSky API is open-source and free. Please consider implementing BlueSky on vMix Social as an alternative to where you previously offered Twitter. Thanks

Will look at doing that, however, hardware resources might limit our options. Productions systems are working well and don't want to mess with them.
