So here is something I have noticed and wanted to find out if anyone else has had this same issue.
I have 3 systems all with vmix installed and they all experiencing the same issue.
Choppy webcam input in browser based video apps like Stream Yard, Restream, evmux, what ever you name it.
This does not happen in vMix, OBS or Skype, only browser based video apps.
This happens no matter what I feed it as an input, NDI as a virtual webcam or an input from an Elgato capture device (USB or PICe).
Black Magic cards do not work as webcams so I can't try with them, yes even the HDMI input cards.
And this issue is only happening on these systems with vmix installed.
I uninstalled vmix from one of the 3 systems and it seems to have fixed the issue, but I still think there are still a few frame drops in the video.
This leads me to believe the problem is with something vmix installs.
Any help fixing this issue would be great as I don't really want to have to use a second system for web based video calls.

I was doing a job with my buddy who also uses vmix in his production. I did a test on his system and I see the same choppy video for the webcam input. (This time I was using NDI Webcam as the input.)
What is vMix installing that is causing this issue?

What browser are you using?
I do several shows a week and use tools like Teams or studio monitor and on my side all is looking very well.

My system has windows 10 and decklink mini recorder and intensity 4k pro. Both cards in browser apps like vdo ninja, vmixcall or apps like skype, they appear as "Blackmagic WDM Capture" (1 time per input or card if is single card,so if you have for example a 4 in card or 2 and more, you should see x times Blackmagic WDM Capture and each one is another input) and if i select it,i can use my bmd card as webcam. Be aware that if you need to use as webcam for example the card 1,this same card cannot be same time as hdmi/sdi input in vmix Other than this, also i dont see any choppy problem

I have been using Vmix for about 3 years now and sending the external to Streamyard for distribution. This has been working perfectly except for recently. I too, am having lag issues regardless of the browser I use. I use a Blackmagic mini recorder as my SDI input for the camera. I am also using an Elgato 4k camera USB input as the second camera. The Elgato was added at the same time my problems started. I have disconnected it but it doesn't stop the lagging on the external output. What could the issue be? JT
