I have an event where there are two sets of judges for a dance competition that want to both to be able to replay independently of each other from recording unit acting as a "master" vMix recorder. They are sitting at areas separate from the master recorder. They need to be able to replay the same video file, at possibly the same time. We also need to a replay the video file to a remote screen for the contestants to review their performance. We were planning on replaying to the remote screen from the main vMix server. The problem is the judges. The judges want to be able to do the replay of the video themselves. Is there part of vMix software that can be used to play saved replay files from the main vMix server onto a laptop over a network in a user friendly GUI? And can this be done at more than one location if there at least a 1 GB network? The files are small and average 1:30-3:00 minutes long. They only allow about 3 minutes between performances, so there is not time to copy and paste files or move files around, it has to be done in real-time.

That would be three outputs, vMix Replay offers two output channels (A and B). So one way would be to have (at least) a 2nd vMix Replay system for the judges, send NDI output(s) from main system to 2nd system, record there as well and send NDI outputs (channel A and B) from 2nd system to the judges. If that is "user friedly" depends on what the judges want to do, how you set it up (set the replay events on the 2nd system automatically via the main system, shortcuts are needed for the judges) and ultimately lies in the eye of the beholder. :)

Some options: There is a function to export the last event so becomes automated and instantly available Personally i would not use IR but rather automatically copy / move the last recording to various locations so all can be used as needed in a way prefered . This goes very quickly (we do thousands of recording and rename them this way on a regular basis) This way you also have each performance for later recall too
