I want to do a simple stream playing a video game with my camera as overlay. I have 2 monitors and set up vmix on the second monitor. I tried using Desktop Capture on my 1st display, but when I launched the game, the desktop capture only showed the desktop and not the game application. Could this be something to do with it being windowed mode? Is there a better method to stream my game?

@ Patrick N It is generally not recommended to capture game play from the same computer (so that the game and vMix are not competing for valuable system resources). However, capturing from the same computer may still be possible with the correct "Window Capture Method" selected (dropdown menu along bottom line of NDI/Destop Capture ==> Local Desktop Capture window), although not always: - https://www.vmix.com/kno...en-using-desktop-captureThis video might also be helpful: Ice
