Hello, has anyone here have experience with running vMix and/or other streaming/production related apps on Framework laptops?
Are the laptops reliable enough for the job?

I don't see why not. I've used vMix on Lenovo X1 Carbon (Gen2 & Gen7) also X1 Extreme Gen1.
Within the limits of the hardware, they were fine.
vMix will make use of Intel QuickSync hardware encoding. This was critical to getting decent performance out of the older X1 Carbon.
You are better off with a dedicated nVidia GPU. But it may not be absolutely required.
