Hollyland Tally & Multiview Layer Compatibility

We are testing out the Hollyland Tally system, which in simple camera only productions seems to be great and easy to set up. However when I add 'background' input to layer 1, 'camera 1' input to layer 2, and PPT to layer 3 of a PiP multiview, the tally system reads all layers as PGM, even when the PiP is sent to preview. So our tally's light up red when this PiP should be green in preview.
Hopefully my explanation is clear enough - does anyone know how to get the Hollyland to read layers as preview/pgm status within the multiviews so that my operators can receive proper tally information?
Thanks in advance for any pointers!

I have the same issue. I would refer to this video to visually explain the issue (not my video): I'm submitting feedback to Hollyland but I doubt that it'll change anything considering that the video is over 10 months old.
