I had two guests sharing screen at the same time, capturing both with no problem. When a third tried to share his share was not able to be captured and fed to vMix, it was just black. When one of the first two stopped sharing, and the third started, it was then captured. Is there a limit to the number of shares that can be captured at the same time?

Hi,
We have been advised there is a 2 share limit limit on the Zoom side of things, so not much we can do unfortunately.
Regards,

Definitely more than 2 people can share in zoom. Our hosts do it on accident all the time. Within zoom all shares are viewable.

They may be low resolution feeds within the Zoom app itself, and not available as full independent feeds in the SDK. All I can say is Zoom advised us only a maximum of two are available in the SDK and we have no control over that.

The limit is not the number of people who can share in Zoom simultaneously. The limit is how many share streams can be viewed simultaneously by a single receiver client. In Zoom Workplace, that's 2 (one on primary window, one on secondary window). vMix follows the conventions of Zoom Workplace correctly in that regard. If you need to extract more than 2 shares simultaneously, explore the NDI or SDI features in Custom AV for Zoom Rooms, and send those streams to vMix for compositing.
