We have been using the same setup for over two years when suddenly we started losing the audio feed about 5 to 10 minutes into the live stream or record. The first time it happened was Sunday, May-19th, we have been having consistent, frequent drops since then. Windows 10 updated on 5-14-24 to vs 8.94.0.0 (Possible source of the problem). However, since there is not way to avoid the updates, if it is indeed the cause, what did it change?
(No other software updates occurred between 1-31-24 & 5-14-24)

- The Behringer x32 display panel shows the x-USB card installed and working correctly.

To make sure we covered all the bases, the following remedies have been tried:
- Hardware side:
- Changed usb cable
- Swapped motherboard & case to eliminate USB port possibility problems.
- Removed internal Elgato Cam Pro 4 port video capture card and used external video capture cards.

- Software side:
- Deleted all presets and upgraded to vMix 27. Now running vMix HD-27.0.0.076x64
- vMix video codec v 3.1
- Install latest Behringer x32 - x-USB drivers v5.12.0 (Made sure to match the driver to the expansion card installed)
- Verified the Behringer X-USB 1-2 is listed in the sound control menu as the computer's audio input source.
- USB Headphones are listed for the Audio output
(The problem exists with or without the headphones connected.)
- Ensured the “Sound Setting/Privacy/Microphone” was set to “Allow access to all” = On

Solution Possiblity:
1 - Open the sound control panel and select recording
- Right click on Behringer X-USB In 1-2 and select “Properties”
- Click on the “Listen” tab and Make sure the “Listen to this device box is checked.
(It was not but is now.)
- Rebooted computer

Promising: With Easy worship running, the signal being sent to the Behringer x32 mixer, I let vMix idle for 22 minutes, no drop, then started recording. 45 minutes it is still going strong. (11:25 pm) I turned off the Bluetooth Logitech trackball but a traditional Bluetooth mouse was still active. Shortly that after the audio feed from the mixer was dropped.

Closed vMix and started it back up at 11:35pm and let it idle all night. The next morning after it running without dropping the soundboard input feed, I started recording. It recorded for about 5 hours before losing the input feed. This was a total of just over 14 hours.

Unfortunately, when we added in a live stream test, we got just over 40 minutes before losing the x32 input feed. Since then we have not been able to get as long of periods without losing the soundboard feed.

I did learn that we can right click on the background of the x32 input and reset the input. This does cause the feed to reconnect.

Conclusion: We are still having the feed drop and need to figure out the cause.

Have you tried the X32 connected to a different PC?
