We often rename participants in zoom to match their role and easier to search in larger meeting. For example "Role - Name".
The issue is vMix, the participant source does not get updated after the host or the participant changes their name and they retain their old name.
Thank you

Hi,
This is currently by design. Due to some current Zoom SDK limitations we need to stick to the original name when they joined the meeting. (Specifically the "unique id" provided by Zoom is not unique for certain types of meetings (such as free accounts and joining as guest) so we need to rely on the name instead)
Regards,
Martin vMix

Thanks Martin
Is there a possibility to add a manual refresh, or is that also not possible with the sdk?
Thanks

Adding we've been playing with alternatives (Zoom Rooms, Videocom bridge) and also have our own Zoom web SDK and the names update in all of these. We had been using ZoomOSC before, but they are retiring in August, hence us looking at options.
Videocom which is the closest to the vmix integration as we can see, does update the names instantly in their dropdown. Maybe there is a way to explore this?
Thank you
