Hi all -
Been using the Osprey cards for years, and recently upgraded to a Magewell XI101XE-HD card.
We are still using an analog switcher, and my question has to do with video clarity. We go from camera to truck patch bay, patch into preview monitors, monitors into switcher.
Switcher out into Magewell, on the green composite line since we are sending analog.
SD picture is crystal clear until we hit that Magewell, and then when we add input into vMix, it looks hazy and soft.
I'm not asking for it to look HD, I just want it to look as good as it does in my preview monitors.
Magewells' customer service is pretty bad - they don't have anyone who speaks english so trying to explain this has resulted in a ton of frustration.
Are there settings I can change either on the card or in vMix that would improve the picture? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
