For a while now, we've been using MS Teams to grab NDI streams to get external callers into vMix for live productions. Teams has lately integrated many ai-based algorithms, reducing bitrate of non-active participants and other counter productive measures that work against live production. With the dawn of "New TEAMS" we're also weary of how good it will work in the future. With vMix call we've had the experience, that it is a bit browser dependant and also it requires more technical understanding on the side of the user. Since we're mainly working with people that have disablities, we're looking for the easiest solution possible.
What's your weapon of choice? Are there other options?

I've been producing a daily webcast in vMix using the Zoom plugin and a regular Zoom meeting to host the speakers. It's working very well for us. Just make sure your account is flagged for HD enabled, gotta put in a support ticket for that. The return feed with audio and video back to the Zoom meeting works flawlessly.
