Hi there
Wondering if anyone has come across this issue.
A colleague of mine has a Dell desktop PC, very similar to mine. We were going through her performance settings and realised vMix was not utilising her Nvdia graphics card. We went through the relevant steps to change this. However once we did her desktop capture input type stopped working - it was working previous to the change when using the intel graphics card.
I did the same change to my own machine not long prior to this and had no issues.
Any thoughts on what this could be, and any fixes? I know using NDI Desktop Capture is a work around but wondering if there is a way to fix this.
Thanks

Make sure all monitors are connected to the GPU, not to the motherboard.

Hi,

I had the same issue with a Dell G15 laptop with nVidia RTX3060 (mobile) card. NDI desktop capture tool would not work and only deliver black picture. THe tray icon in the task bar was flickering wildly. I think my workraound was to use the desktop capture application from vMix.

I did not dig deeper into this, could give it a new try with all Windows/Dell updates on the laptop active and a current version of NDI tools.
