We are still in the set up phase of using vMix and are having a problem getting our miked organ and piano to come into the vMix via outside Shure microphones.

We've tried several mikes and we are able to get voice audio i.e. saying "test test" to come over, but it is almost as if something is muting our organ and piano.

Are there any settings that could be filtering out music? It seems odd that voice works, but not instruments.

Next step is to try a mike that is designed for music and see if that makes a difference.

Just checking to see if there could be some type of "muting" function in the vMix software that could be lurking..

Thank you,

Steve

Thank you,

I followed the linked posting and turned off those settings on our laptop and we got piano and organ today. There was a little distortion from the organ, but I think that's just a matter of setting levels and doing some mik postioning.... Thank you again...
