I recorded in vMix AVI and succesfully edited in Premiere Pro last Monday.

I recorded agian in vMix AVI on Friday but Premiere is being so sluggish and not really dealing with it so I had to give up. (fortunately had back up options to use). It did load it originally but wont now.

I have gone back to the Monday edit and Premiere is no longer seeing this.

I can play the files in vMix and in Windows legacy media player. no other players see them but this isn't a surprise.

I could spend time listing specs but essentially, Monday - worked with no issue, smoothly and very fast, Friday - doesn't work

What has likely changed in 4 days?

vMix is 25.0.0.31 so hasn't been upgraded

Premiere pro is 24.2.1 and on subscription. I'm not sure when this last upgraded and if this could cause the issue

Any ideas
