Zoom audio playing in laptop speakers - when I add a Zoom input to vMix, the audio from Zoom plays through my laptop's speakers.

Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but when I add a Zoom input to vMix, the audio from Zoom plays through my laptop's speakers. I have my headphones plugged in and my device playback device is "headphones." I am hosting the meeting on Zoom and do not have the native app open. Any ideas?
