Hi all!
I had an issue with the Zoom-Plugin lately and would like to throw it in to the open for discussion:
The Zoom meeting was set up by the client, and in the security settings it was set to “disallow the participants to turn on video”. In most cases we get a meeting the client setup and we do not have a say in setting the options. So VMix entered as a normal participant with video turned off. We promoted VMix to be a cohost, but video did not got turned on, even after changing the option for participants to be able to turn on video. Since we did not have a way to enter VMix as a cohost from start on, or just simply turn on video (no button for that) we could not get video to work. We needed to workaround quickly by feeding the output from vmix thru sdi to another computer with an interface that then sent the signal to the meeting with the normal zoom-client.

My point is: In the zillions of option combinations that zoom has in the backend as well as in the clients, there will be situations where you need to manually turn on video and audio in the vmix-zoom-client, in order to activate it. These buttons do not exist at this time. It would help if they where built in to the Zoom-Manager of Vmix, if possible. Or any alternative way to toggle audio and video on and off.

Kind regards,
Michael
