I today noticed that the vMix Participant needs to be the Host (CoHost wasnt enough) to actualy start Audio/Video into the Meeting.
If its not Host i can not get Audio/Video working into the meeting.

As soon as i make the vmix participant Host from another computer that is the HOST,
then disconnect and connect again, it will stay the Host, it can start Audio/Video by then (i may have to request to unmute for the CoHosts Client)


I did use "Join a Meeting" rather then "Host a Meeting"in the Plugin Connect Screen, thats why i am not Host from the start.


Maybe its about who can start recordings or something similar. I just noticed it and though i share it.

Will Check again as I missed one item of the list.

"Ensure that no Zoom permission request popups have opened in the background of Windows that are awaiting your approval. vMix may need to be minimised to find them."

Did try again, still the same.

Checked the settings along the troubleshooting steps for zoom and made sure the recording options are ticked per the guide, I believe.

Maybe I miss some setting, would make totally sense to me . Or I have to create a completely new meeting when I changed anything.

Because if I use the Streaming setting it works, Hosts get the Question to allow it. And we're getting Audio

If the Streaming Capture mode works, then it does mean that your account and/or meeting settings has one of the recording items setup as per the Troubleshooting guide.
