Good Day,

I would like to push to allow users the ability to adjust their bitrate as their internet drops to allow the stream to still go through even though it compromises quality.

The most important issue to date is the stability of a clients internet, allowing the operator to adjust the rate on the go assists with the stability.

Simply choosing a CBR or VBR of 1200 is not an option in many cases.

It's an old software, but it still works:vMix supports streaming via FMLE (adobe). It can auto adjust the bitrate when the internet connection speed is dropping. Would be cool if it was baked into vMix though, so +1

We use Stream 1/2/3 in case of turbulence. If we get a bad route to server and start seeing [DUP ACK] messages in Wireshark, we boot stream 2, which gets a new route to server and in 95% of cases solve the issue.

I imagine this could be set up with different bitrates, too, say 2000CBR, 1000CBR, 500VBR.
