Hello, i was checking my old/new hardware setup with
i9-7980xe (36 threads) 44 lane
n°4x8gb ram ddr4
nvidia quadro p5000
1 nvme samsung pro
decklink quad

What happen?
.. I have tried to record the PGR and the multicorder with and without hardware encoder option more and more time on a p50 and p25 project
and some times some files are CONSTANT FPS and some others VARIABLE fps like 49.99 (insteaf of 50).. or sometimes are all CONSTANT FPS (Verified media info app.)
The same happen also at 25fps..

So.. I was thinking about the pci lanes problems.. but in quad memory channels i have the full 44 cpu lanes..and the p5000 use 16lanes and the decklink 8 = 24 lanes used

Fianally I enabled the ecc ram nvidia quadro option.. but no changes about fps problems..

What I can do????!!!!

Hello. Vmix is a great piece of software. The only disadvantage is that it depends to run in the crap os that called windows. Im using vmix for my shows for about 2 years. The 99% of problems i had these years are solved after a windows restart.. Till the next time that will happen again and a reboot will fix and all this is a unlimited circle for ever...
