Hi,

Anybody knows if is it possible to create a script to do this:
AMBIENT:
Translation from english to italian and reverse
I have a translator on a vmix call
I send him the pgm audio
I send his voice on a bus
On the “stage” are speaking in english so the translator switch on the mic and speaks in italian.
On the “stage” are speaking in italian so the translator seitch off the mic. At this point i want to have automatically the pgm audio on the translation bus.
So:
Is it possible to have a script to do this? When the translator switchs off the mic on his out “bus” is activated the pgm sound. When the translator switch on his mic the pgm on his out bus is deactivated.

Thank you

Forums user rse has created a script for (among other things) this purpose, found here:

https://github.com/rse/v...aster/audio-sidechain.md

As the vMix API doesn't know if a vMix Call user has muted his mic, the script is looking for changes in volume.
