Hi everybody, Is it possible in the future to use the 2 recorder independently like streams? Now if i start record, vmix use both recorder, but i would like to use one of this at a time. In this way i don't have 2 file every time if not necessary. Thank You.

Maybe you can enable/disable the 2nd during recording of the first. Just try it.

Have you tried the multicorder as well. You could use the recorder for one task and the multicorder for the 2nd independent recording.

Press the "Gear" icon next to the "Record" button. In the popup Recording settings window press the "2" button, when you get the settings for the second recording Uncheck the "Enable" button. Then you'll get just one copy. If you want to record a Different Output with the second recorder then select a different output on the screen for the second one instead of turning off the "Enable" button.

The problem is when we have the 1st recorder on progress, and we want to record something else for a small amount of time in the 2nd recorder is not possible to start-stop the 2nd recorder without interrupt the 1st recorder. Also another feature i would like to see in the future is a way to change while recording is on progress with a shortcut the audio bus that we record. Also i would like to see in multicorder the same process to be enabled (change audio bus while multicorder) and also be able in audio to record and audio buses and not only master or input

If a car has 4 doors (1st recorder front doors and 2nd recorder back doors) and if the back passenger needs to get in/out of the car must the front passenger also get in/out from the car, there is an ergonomical mismatch in the whole design

+1 Use case (one example). In 2 hours we will go live with a conference production. Now the Swedish Minister for Energy, Business and Industry and Deputy Prime Minister asked if we could give her secretary a file with her key note immediately after. She need it for a press conference this morning. My problem is that the conference continues for three more hours, and we need to record the whole thing.
/richard (in the back seat and, I can't use the rear doors)
