I'm trying to workout a price for a building PC with the spec to run 4k and up to 4 replays, based around the Diamond Reference System, preferably rack mounted for easy transportation.

Input:
2x HDMI 4k 50fps - 4k cameras.
1x HDMI HD 50fps - Wireless camera.
2x NDI - 4k PTZ cameras.
Zoom, vMix Call and URL.
Possible SDI input in the future.
Possible SRT input in the future.

Output:
2 x HDMI or DisplayPort - 2 x 27" 4k monitors for PC and Multiview.
1x HDMI 4k - Main Program feed to LiveU Solo Pro.
1x HDMI HD - Venue LED Large Screen.
1x NDI.
Possible SDI output in the future.
Possible SRT output in the future.

I'm thinking a Blackmagic DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder for the HDMI input, maybe adding a DeckLink 8K Pro in the future.

I have very little knowledge of PC components, so can you advise on the brand and model for the motherboard, graphics card and CPU without blowing the bank.
Which model NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti would be best, some have 2x HDMI & 2x Displayport?
Which model X299 Motherboard, I need enough slots and lanes, is this an up to date motherboard, or are there newer motherboards that would be future proof?
Is the Intel Core i9 10980XE CPU what I need?

replay is limited to 2 x 4K, 8 in HD

for the pc, it's the budget that will decide

number of processor core + pcie lanes so important

for the actual config, with all peripherals and ready for the future, a price between 7000 and 8000

features to check before buying

the x299 motherboard has 6 pcie connectors for quad HDMI or 8K decklink cards
so in theory 24 physical inputs (HDMI or SDI) but the system will quickly reach its limits in this case
you need about one 4K input (NDI or HDMI or SDI) per processor core above 3ghz
also with i9-10980xe/x299 (18 cores / 48 lanes) with security = 15 4k inputs

and your graphics card will be limited because the port is also a pcie 3.0 x16 when the graphics card can operate in pcie 4.0 x16
and the quality between live and replay will be uneven but if you use an external encoder it's ok, maybe just monitor in QHD and no 4K

or for a model more similar to the x299, you need an AMD WRX80 sWRX8 socket system with AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO.
