We have two NDI cameras with static IP addresses in our system. I would like to move one of the existing cameras to a new ethernet cable and switch port which is in a better location, and then take a new NDI camera with a new static IP address and plug it into the existing ethernet cable and port.

Is there a best sequence to do this so the presets do not become confused or fail?

The cameras are PTZOptics NDI cameras. The switches are Netgear and are unmanaged. vMix is running on Windows 11 and is up to date.

Hello. If i understand well, you want to replace a camera ndi input in a existing vmix preset. If so, go to the ndi camera input you want to change, press the cog wheel and then select change from upper corner button. Then select ndi find and select your ndi camera and you're ready

Are there any problems in moving the old camera to a new line? How do I drop it out of the old line assuming I will add it on the new line.
