Hi. In GT Title Designer under the Data tab, you can unhide a layer. This makes it possible to edit/modify the layer in vMix Title editor, also via Data Sources. If it is a "graphics" layer you can now change the color, and also link the color to a datasource. If it is a text layer you can change the textcolor via the GUI, but the datafield will only link to the text itself, not the color of the text. Would it be possible to also get the text color in vMix title editor, if you enabled this i GT Title Designer? Kindly Aki

This has been asked here too, but I couldn't find the posts myself :-) Answer, with example, here. In my example, I turned off the "Hidden" checkbox" , so you can see what the shape is called and what color it is.

Hello,
i'm also hoping to change the colour of a text field dynamically using a DataSource -
Am i meant to be using as the workaround? "Fetches the color of a shape from a GTtitle and then performs an action based on the color

Just to let others know, there is a quick workaround. Create an rectangle and a text block. Position the text block underneath the rectangle. Then select the rectangle and set the text block as its mask. Link: https://help.vmix.com/gr.../index.html?Effects.htmlNow the rectangle will look like the text. Now you can change the color of the rectangle via a DataSource OBS. The rectangle must always be larger then the text.
