We've been having this issue for some time now.

The audio input in question is a Roedecaster 2 Pro.
At random times during our show, the input will just disconnect and we loose audio.
As you all know we then have to restart vMix to be able to reconnect to it. That's a BIG issue.

We had the issue when running vMix on a laptop, but it's still there after switching to a brand new PC.
I could mention that I believe we never had the issue when running on a Macbook Pro (bootcamp), but that was many months ago and many other external things may have changed since then.

Has anyone else had this issue?
Any suggestions?

We're obviously trying different cables etc but so far no luck with any of that basic stuff.
It could be windows/driver/bios related, but the laptop was running this setup without problems for some time, and none of our other laptops have similar issues when connecting other devices, like ulitrastudio mini HD, to name one.

if you're sure the USB cable isnt the issue.. id then try removing all other audio devices off the computer including any motherboard audio, disable it in device manager if you can.. test again.... if its still occurring id try putting the Rodecaster on another USB port with as few other USB devices connected to your computer as possible.. try and isolate the cause of the problem..

if all those things fail and you are still getting drop outs with no other audio devices present and youve tried every USB port.. i wouldnt rule out something with the 960 ASIO buffer vMix sets.. you could email Rode and ask them if the Rodecaster can use a 960 ASIO buffer (as forced by software) or if that value could be troublesome (960 is "non standard")..
