Two tweaks satisfying two long-standing feature requests would greatly simplify our vMix work flow. 1) PFL audio button At the moment there is no way of hearing audio if the volume is turned down. We often use a hardware fader console which controls volumes - when fader is down, volume is down, but we have no way of hearing that audio source then. PFL (Pre Fade Listen) is a standard feature in every broadcast sound desk but is totally absent in vMix. Feature request thread, since 6 years ago https://forums.vmix.com/...2078-Audio-Pre-Fade-SOLO 2) Inputs with layers bought in as layers on a other input cannot be cropped Imagine you have input 1 as a colour, with input 2 a different colour. Input 2 has Input 1 selected onto layer 1 at 50% zoom. Then on input 3, bring in input 2 as a layer and then crop it - you will see the original input 2 crops, but not the layer of input 1. If you out this through a mix input, it does crop properly, but this uses a lot of mixes unnecessarily in our use case. Treating each input as a flattened input when layering would really help. Actually as allready mentioned in some older posts there is a workaround to listen your mic audio if the volume is turned down.Enable additional ndi outputs and bring in the ndi audio in and solo this. Also for non audio inputs like a video file or audio file, you can make shortcuts or 2 small scripts that when you run them, they will set volume up and then solo the input source and then the other set volume to 0 and un-solo the source. Ok not the best way but until then.. if ever... is a solution that will work
