Hi guys,

I would be really happy to have the option to use NDI-HX in vMix as an output option.

By my understanding, it would be no problem to implement that as any modern GPU can process it.

Does anybody know if it is planned in vMix 27?

I suspect the issue is not related to processing power as much as cost. Whereas the "standard" NDI SDK is free to use, it doesn't include NDI|HX encoding. That is only available in the "advanced" SDK which has a significant price tag in order to license it - way too much for a small scale developer like me to use in my NDI utilities - much as I'd like to. How much it would cost vMix, I don't know, but I imagine it might result in a price increase, and/or only be available in the Pro edition (or maybe 4K).

I think many of us are earning good money with vmix. I wouldn't bother to pay for a seperate license to be able to use NDI-HX if it fixes my needs.
