Hello
We use for the first time Vmix (14.0.0.102) with the Elgato Game Capture USB 2.0 (newest driver). Running Vmix in 32bit mode, everything is fine and we save a preset. When we open Vimix 32bit the next time and try to open the preset, the capture module stay black and in the settings Elgato Game Capture is marked as offline. Now we have to renew the input to Elgato Game Capture and then everyting works.
The setup is for a client (sport video analysis), he can't handle the procedure all time. Notebook: I5 with Windows 7
Is this a bug or a driver problem?
Thank you Martin Stucki

Martin, Sounds like vMix cannot find the device when it is restarted. When loading a preset vMix tries finding the device via some kind of key generated when the Input setup. This key changes when the same hardware is placed in another USB port, PCIe slot, or other connection.
Not sure what you mean by "next time". If it is directly after closing vMix, then I am puzzled. If it is when the Elgato is put into another USB port, then you have a probable cause.
When loading the preset again, and the device is "offline". Try Change in the input and see if the Elgato is in the drop down list of Camera devices. If it is, then select it and you probably have the settings intact.
Good luck!

Hi Richard It happens, when I restart vMix without unpluging the USB connector. When I press Change, i can select the Elegato and the settings are intact, but for a client it's unreasonable always setting up the camera input. Thank you Richard and greets to Stockholm
