Hello, In relation to this post here VMIX WATCH FOLDER? I'm wondering wether we should look into other solutions than VMIX, even though we've been running all sorts of show in the last years on it. Requirements: - Multi Day show outputting content to three individual led walls (each 16:9 1080p) that are sometimes stitched together into one big one. - Some of the content is static (Logos), some needs to be able to be edited and loaded into the system on the fly (winner graphics for example) - As the led wall is sometimes playing premade video files over the length of the three displays, the videos need to be triggered and played in sync - There is a live camera feed from the local broadcaster that needs to be shown on one of the screen (middle one) sometimes Possible solution: - TWO VMIX Systems = three outputs - Companion & Streamdeck to trigger elements together on three screens together and/or left&right screen. - One Hardware Mixer for VMIX 1 and all local cameras for the middle screen Problem with this solution: - Running two VMIX Systems = Complexity, but necessary because only two external outputs possible - Adding files on the fly not natively doable in VMIX, needs solution like Folder Watch Plugin and some Companion Wizardry (complex) - Ideally Files would be stored on a NAS for the VMIX Systems, this adds other problems with local network caching etc. Does Anyone have some inputs into where we should look otherwise? I have no experience with CasparCG, ProPresenter or Tinkerlist and the likes and no Budget to rent a Barco for a couple of weeks but am willing to look into a more promising solution as doing all this in VMIX seems quite a stretch of the intended use. Thank you very much for any ideas and pointers!

I run a vMix system for an LED wall that's 32:9. The top half of the main output (mix 1) is sent to the wall via the GPU. The wall processor then only uses the top half of the image.
You could do something similar. You wouldn't get 1:1 pixel mapping but it's the easiest setup.
Alternatively you could do 2 Fullscreen outputs. 1 in 1080 and 1 in 4k or both in 4k.
1 output powers 2/3 of the wall and the other does 1/3.
Use 2 mixes to feed them. You can then slice and dice what gets fed into each and can even feed from your main output (mix 1).
I'd be happy to throw together a file if that's helpful (or even get on a zoom call).

You can use NDI maybe for this. Connect a NDI player (computer or hardware) and produce 3 NDI feeds out of vMix. Out 1-4 are available and you can activate NDI for them. The mini-Mixes to feed the other outputs. Sortcuts to automate and trigger stuff

Do you have a stable recommendation for a latency free NDI-SDI Conversion, ideally software based with a Blackmagic Card (as In: Second VMIX System thats just used for conversion NDI - SDI)?

I would use something resolume to feed the led processor on a separate system. The content can be played directly on the resolume and come from vmix via SDI or NDI with or without alpha.

Probably too late but just stumbled across this post... It occurred to me that if you are doing IMAG, you may want to DA the camera feed to both vMix (for streaming), and straight to an ATEM or other cam switcher that can feed the center screen to avoid the latency that vMix will introduce in the cam signal. If you use something like an ATEM constellation with assignable outs (basically like Auxes) you can assign those outs to each screen and feed the outs assigned to the outer screens the graphics, playback, etc, from vMix. Then for the center screen can switch between the cam feed coming directly into the ATEM and your 3rd output from vMix.
Just thinking about latency here.
