I'd like to see the audio meter beside any input that contains audio even on those inputs that are virtual or start as blank with embedded layers. For example, when you add a vMix Call input, the audio meter is right beside the input. If I create a blank input and add the caller as a layer, this new input should also show the same audio meter beside it. That way, I can hide the original vMix call input and still see the audio on the new blank input.

I am not plus oneing this as I have a questions,
I like the idea except Virtual Inputs have no audio on purpose if memory serves and making vMix think it has audio might confuse things.
I see the need though.

Hi Rich. Thanks for responding. When I have 100 or so inputs, it can get overwhelming to keep track of inputs and especially those that carry audio. If I group together all of the inputs that will ultimately get featured in the Master program out and filter my view with just those inputs, most of them will be virtual inputs or mixes. The only way to reference the audio is in the mixer. But, it would be easier on the eyes to see them right next to the thumbnail inputs and trust that the sound is functioning as it should. I'm not advocating for having the ability to manipulate the audio, I just need it for visual reference.
Hope that makes sense.
