I have a dell xps desktop which costed about 6k last year.
It has the standard Realtek sound card.
I'm thinking about buying a better sound card.
Any suggestions?
I don't know what I don't know.
I want to stop the problems I'm having with the audio intermittently stopping due to software selection or blue tooth disconnect crossed wires situation. I need a hard wired solution I think? I also want to use zoom calls in vmix with ease. I also need to record q and A live streams.
Thanks

There are many USB choices out there. If you are looking for PCIe cards then Creative Soundblaster and ASUS have models in the $100-200 range.
If you want a high-end internal soundcard with either 1/4" or DB connections, they are pricey.
