We record individual dances during dance competitions. I was wondering if there was anyway to have the filename be linked to the overlay that displays the name and number of the current dance.
I was also thinking it might be possible to have the file name come from an excel sheet? Our title overlay is pulled from one.
Any thoughts?

thanks Sure, Pull the name from the title and rename the (last) recording with a script There is some leads to how to pull the data from a title in the "scripting for dummies" post . There is also an example on how to get the last recorded file in the knowledge base. then do the rename of the file. We do it all the time
