Hi,

Is there a way to force extended display to be enabled on a Desktop even when there is no monitor/cable hooked up on the secondary display port of the PC?

I simply want to be able to capture the extended display of the other PC. I do not want to output it on a real monitor.

Also the secondary display port is DVI which I do not have right now.

Tried searching the net but it is infested with "how to extend desktop" topics. I only found one really relevant discussion but it ended prematurely without any details as to what needs to be done

It is a registry hack for windows XP. Anyone know similar technique for min 7?

I search my Win7 Registry with DriverDefaultAlgoSettings entry but did not find any.

Thanks
