Fortunately input 1 is one of our cameras so we could still stream live but input 1 and only input 1 got streamed. The interface and everything else LOOKED like it was working perfectly but the livestream was just input 1 and only input 1 (no overlays etc).

Still vMix 25 (last V25 release)

Restarted vMix after livestream was done with a test livestream, same problem so it wasn't a "one time only" problem. It seems to be baked in somehow.

Se the question is? How to get streaming to stream what vMix says is it's output instead of just the very first input.

Have you checked the Output settings? Is Output 1 set to Input 1?

Everything in the vMix interface including the Live Window and an "Output" input show whatever inputs I have selected plus overlays etc as normal. Stream however is only Input 1. In the Output1 settings it says "Output".

In the streaming settings (cog icon "Quality"), you can set the stream to Output 1 or 2. Is it set to Output 1?

Found it, user error of course. In my panic Sunday I mistook Fullscreen 1 for Output 1 on the Outputs / NDI / SDI settings page. Looking at Output 1 it was indeed set to Input 1. So easy to fix, so embarrassing to admit.
