We’ve just got two PTZOptics HD cameras with NDI support, to supersede our Sony EVI-D70’s which only support RS445 PTZ.

In the PTZ section of the NDI inputs is a checkbox that doesn’t appear in the v25 User Guide and I haven’t worked out what it is doing.

“Always show thumbnail on input preview”

I’m trying to set 3 virtual positions per camera and use vMix to move and output them but I’m confusing myself with all the inputs, preview and output.

I think next time I’m there I’ll play with the “On click, (don’t) go to preview” box that I already use elsewhere. (Our cameras rarely go to the main output; they’re sent to Overlay 1 (Stream only) mostly, so I only want virtual inputs to recall, not preview/output)

But - what does/doesn’t that checkbox do differently to not ticking it?
