Hi All,

This is my first time in the Forum, so I'll be proving my ignorance...

I have vMix HD version running on a machine with 5 IP cameras and using 49 inputs for a 24/7 YouTube livestream. It runs without a problem, but I would like to access some of the features in the 4K version, but I don't need to process 4K video. Here is the question...

Does the 4K version of vMix require much additional CPU/graphics capability if HD video is being processed?

Many thanks for hour help.

It just enables more features.
Should not impact otherwise until you add something new to your project.

Yes, no problem. I upgraded from HD to 4K on the same hardware. At the time I wanted PTZ control, which was only in the 4k version.
