Instant replay seems to be a really mighty and complex tool, even if I personally never need it because I don't do any sports or similar.
But I know that it needs a lot of hard disk bandwidth and CPU power.
Following to that I always give the advice to not use the same PC for instant replay that also does vMix livestream production but separate it into two separate systems.
I guess it would be a good idea to separate instant replay to a special software that takes over all the functionality that instant replay currently has in vMix and maybe even more. Including the sending of the replay outputs via SDI, SRT or NDI to another system around.
What do you thing about that issue?
