I created and linked a Lower 3rds input using a stock template in vMix which work 'manually' just fine. Then I've created shortcut keys for 'Next Row' and 'Previous Row' in Companion that don't work. Re-creating the shortcuts in the shortcut editor in vMix using my laptop keyboard, they do work. I've had this problem on occasion with the local keyboard shortcuts as well.

I've had this problem before and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong that I'm just not seeing or what? Attached are screenshots of the setup. Am I missing something? When using a Key for shortcut the vMix main Gui has to be active
Using standard streamdeck software it works wel but to avoid having the vmix gui not active problem one better uses a web api function instead of a shortcut key or use the vMix streamdeck plugin .
If using companion refer to the companion groups if there is an issue

I can report that using a stream deck directly it works 100% perfectly.

Mavik, I assume you mean using a vMix key from streamdeck? I like using Companion in part because I can move the keys from computer to computer. That said, Doggy's solution worked a treat. And thanks to both of you for your interest.

One can do that with the native streamdeck app too if you don't use the vMix plugin ( to move keys to another SD) and preferably the website SD button to avoid the issue you had ;-)
